Information
The UK’s transportation sector is complex. The infrastructure needed to meet the electrification challenges, the fear of stranded assets, and the behaviour changes required from both companies and citizens must be addressed. The business community is already stepping up and with the right policy support, and infrastructure spending, the transition to a low-carbon transport system is within our grasp in the next 10 years.
The Transport Track is designed to strengthen cross-sector partnerships to help co-design, build and finance transportation infrastructure and innovations fit for the future. As the UK is set to ban the sale of new combustion engines by 2030, we must prepare by supporting multi-modal synergies and systematic cross-sector collaboration to accelerate the shift to alternative transportation and low carbon vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
